Library Advisory Board

The responsibilities and duties of the Yelm Library Advisory Board (YLAB) include serving as an advisory body to the Mayor and City Council regarding the library building and equipment, periodically evaluating the relationship between the City of Yelm and Timberland Regional Library District, and reviewing legislative issues before the Washington State Legislature related to library matters.  The board serves as a liaison between the Mayor and City Council on library related issues. 
 
The YLAB meets on the second Tuesday of each month from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.  (except August and December) in the Living Room at the Yelm Timberland Library, 210 Prairie Park Street.  *Meetings are currently being held via Zoom.

The five members of the Board are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council to serve a four year term.
