Fort Stevens Elementary: Pedestrian Improvements

Improves safety for students and pedestrians along 100th Way Southeast and Grove Road near Fort Stevens Elementary with new sidewalks and ADA compliant facilities.  The project includes construction of ~1800 LF of curbs, gutters, and 6' sidewalks from the existing sidewalks on the north side of the road across from the school to include stormwater systems.

Project Schedule: Construction is funded by TAP FHWA and required obligation date for construction is July 2018. Design is nearing completion.  Local funding is across two annual budget years. Environmental Services may begin prior to design. This is a federally funded project.

Preliminary Design and Survey, NEPA Environmental Mazama Pocket Gopher Study and Section 106 Study, Biological Assessment (BA) have been completed.  90% Plans, Specifications and Estimate (PS&E) have been completed.
