City Council
The Yelm City Council represent the needs and interests of the citizens of Yelm.  The seven-member Council establishes policy for the city, adopts the annual budget, and represents Yelm's interest on regional boards and commissions.

The Council meets the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM in the Council Chambers in the Yelm Public Safety Building, 206 McKenzie Street SE.  The public is invited to attend all meetings and each agenda has time at the beginning for public comments, questions, or concerns.  Meetings are streamed live on the internet, and past meetings may be viewed online.

The current Council agenda and past meeting minutes are posted in the City's document library.  The upcoming agenda is posted no later than the Friday before the meeting.

Tad Stillwell

Councilmember Tad Stillwell
2018 – 2021 Term

Councilmember Stillwell was elected in 2015 to complete a partial term, and re-elected in November 2017  He owns an insurance brokerage and serves in the Army Reserve.

Serving his third term, Councilmember Wood owns a small business in Yelm and was selected as Mayor Pro-Tem in 2016.

Joe DePinto
Position 6

    Councilmember Joe DePinto
2016 – 2019 Term

Elected for the first time in 2015 for the 2016-2019 term, Councilmember DePinto enjoys playing poker, tennis, clam digging, karaoke, and gaming in his free time.  He is a strong believer in servant leadership and truly being a voice of the people.

Terry Kaminski

Elected in 2017, Ms. Kaminski has been active in the Yelm Community for many years, serving on the Planning Commission for over 10 years.  She is on the Board of Directors for both the Yelm Chamber of Commerce and Bounty for Families and has been a real estate broker for 31 years and is currently Managing Broker at Windermere Yelm..
