Yelm City Park

Splash Pad 2

Yelm City Park is located at 115 Mosman Ave SE.

We do not take reservations for private events at Yelm City Park.

The Splash Pad is open Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend from 11am-7pm. It may be closed intermittently for maintenance.

Yelm City Park is the City's first public park and is the centerpiece of Yelm.  The park stays busy entertaining families year-round and is host to many community-wide events, including Prairie Days, Jazz in the Park, the Nisqually Valley BBQ Rally, and Christmas in the Park.

The park has received several improvements over the last few years, including the new playground equipment, splash pad,  Yelm Community Center, electric car charging stations, and a new irrigation system that keeps the field watered and maintained throughout the year.

The splash pad, located in Yelm City Park is the most popular family attraction in the community with multiple water fountains and jets, rings, and other features for children to cool off in the summer heat. Picnic tables surround the park, making it a great spot to land your picnic basket while the kids play.

The splash pad was funded in part through a $305,019 Community Development Block Grant and a $239,590 State Capital Budget Grant.
